Community
A place for people with disabilities, amputees, families, volunteers, creators, and supporters to learn from one another without pity or assumptions.
Legend Foundation is building community, practical solutions, opportunities, and visibility with amputees and people with disabilities—not merely for them.
We are starting by listening. The mission will grow from what people actually need, what families experience, and what practical solutions can improve daily life.
A place for people with disabilities, amputees, families, volunteers, creators, and supporters to learn from one another without pity or assumptions.
Adaptive tools, assistive products, workshop projects, and real-world solutions shaped by lived experience and tested for actual use.
Future work may include inclusive fitness, adaptive athletics, family support, financial assistance, education, and creative programs.
Respectful storytelling that recognizes people, their accomplishments, experiences, and scars—only with informed consent.
“We don’t know either. But let’s learn it together.”— Larry Stroud, Founder
We begin with the people experiencing the problem, not with assumptions about what they need.
The people affected by a challenge should have meaningful influence over the solution.
We will document what works, acknowledge what does not, and improve without hiding the process.
Tell us what makes daily life, travel, fitness, work, family support, or access harder than it should be. Suggestions can come from people with lived experience, families, professionals, volunteers, makers, or community partners.
This is not a donation form. We are listening and building the founding community.
