FOR TEAMS?
We're building Legend Foundation BBQ 2027 as a serious, organized competition with room for experienced teams and first-time competitors. As details are finalized, this page will be updated with the information teams need to plan.
Is this paid registration?
No. The current competitor form is an interest / pre-registration list only. No payment is being collected and joining the list does not guarantee a competition spot.
When will final rules be released?
Final rules will be published after the event structure, categories, venue, and any sanctioning requirements are confirmed.
Do I need competition experience?
No. Legend Foundation intends to create room for experienced teams and first-time competitors alike, subject to the final event format and field capacity.
Where will the event be held?
The event is planned for South Florida. The final venue will be announced once confirmed.
When is the event?
The event is planned for Summer 2027. Exact dates are still being finalized.
What categories are planned?
Competition categories are still being finalized.
Will there be a People's Choice component?
A People's Choice-style public tasting and voting experience is being explored as part of the event. Final format, participation requirements, and voting details will be announced when confirmed.
How will updates be shared?
Teams on the competitor interest list may receive updates by email as event details are finalized. Major updates will also be published on the Legend Foundation website.
Is joining the interest list the same as being accepted?
No. Joining the list only tells Legend Foundation that you are interested in competing and gives us permission to contact you with future registration information.
